UFC 109 Fantasy League Predictions

Well, it’s time once again to make my picks for our UFC fantasy league. This event seems like a decent outing for the UFC but not the showstopper that they usually have for their Super Bowl PPV. I’m not going to watch this card live but we might watch some highlights from it at the next Guy’s Night. Remember, if you would like to join our fantasy league just shoot me an email through the contact page and we’ll get you signed up. Anyways, on to the picks…

So there you have it. Now I’ll hit the high points and give you a little insight as to why I picked who I did.

Randy Couture v. Mark Coleman (Main Event) - I really expect this fight to be a war of attrition. It’s no secret that Mark Coleman’s cardio is pretty weak. Seems like he typically gives out near the end of the first round. The guys he has been fighting up to this point didn’t seem like they could capitalize on this weakness but make no mistake that Randy will. Randy’s strategy should be to stand up with Mark and wear him out on the feet then about the 2nd or 3rd round to unleash on him and take him out. I think if he does that he will be successful.
